Swedesploitation Ground Zero

Here we have it: the ur-text of Swedish exploitation, the most internationally successful Swedish film of all time (at least until Lena Nyman showed it all in I Am Curious Yellow), our greatest director's most popular work: I give you Ingmar Bergman's Sommaren Med Monika (Summer with Monika), re-titled, re-cut, and re-imagined by exploitation master Kroger Babb as Monika, the Story of a Bad Girl!

Beautiful! You should know that I was exactly one day late on that poster. If you ever want to rid yourself of it...you know my number. Lucky! I love it.

Lucky indeed, but you'll find one too sooner or later for sure! I'm not letting this one go, it will be lightly restored, linenbacked, and framed under UV glass. This is history...

Are all Swedish girls bad?

Yes, Anonymous, as any frequent reader of this blog will have picked up by now, all Swedish girls are bad - at least from MONIKA and on!

Anonymous is the Posteroid.
Yesterday the automatic login didn't work and I had to post under a pseudonym.
But I am glad to hear the truth about Swedish girls. If I were single, I'd definitely consider relocating to Sweden and converting to Lättöl.
